Kobie Price is accepted to Moore Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program
Kobie Price, UIC Sociology undergraduate student, has been accepted to the Moore Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (MURAP) at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. MURAP is a graduate-level research experience for highly talented undergraduate students from diverse backgrounds who are interested in pursuing doctorates in the humanities, social sciences, or fine arts. Kobie will be one of 20 students to participate in the ten-week program.
Kobie is also a coauthor on a paper with Erin Eife and Professor Amy Bailey that has been accepted at a roundtable session at the American Sociological Association. And he is working with Professor Gordon on her skin tone project.
