Village Leadership Academy
Mission: Village Leadership Academy (VLA) is a kindergarten through 8th grade school located in Chicago, IL. VLA offers a fresh new approach to teaching and learning that includes high academic standards, exposure to world history and geography, appreciation for cultural differences, the development of critical thinking and perspective taking skills, and socially just decision making. Village Leadership Academy’s goal is to prepare tomorrow’s world leaders today.

Communities in Schools of Chicago
Mission: Communities In Schools of Chicago addresses the gap between students’ needs and schools’ ability to respond to these needs. We connect students with free social, emotional, health and enrichment programs and provide schools and the community organizations providing services with strategic and tactical expertise in effective program coordination.

Mission: SGA provides a wide range of social services to create long-term and community wide change in some of Chicago's most challenged and consistently under-served communities. Our approach to provide comprehensive services for children, families and communities has been successful because of innovative programming. We find the necessary resources to sustain services, identify the right partnerships, and track, measure and improve our outcomes through data-driven solutions.

Mission: The West Suburban Action Project (PASO/Proyecto de Acción de los Suburbios del Oeste) is a grassroots, community-based social justice organization in the West Cook Suburbs that works to engage community members to address issues that affect them, their families, and neighbors. PASO is currently focusing on immigration, education and access to healthcare, analyzed through a racial and gender equity lens.
