Join a conversation between Rahim Kurwa and Ian Kennedy about housing
discrimination and evictions. Dr. Kennedy will discuss an audit study of landlord responses to potential tenants with and without felony convictions, as well as a study of rental ads and background checks. Dr. Kurwa will discuss collaborative research with grad students in SOC and CLJ on the barriers that tenants face when trying to avoid eviction from subsidized housing.
