About
Research Interests: My research examines the social construction of belonging in a two-part process by exploring 1) how institutions determine the extent to which different racial groups can belong and 2) how different racial groups draw on institutions when crafting belonging for themselves. My current work focuses on the relationship race and religion have with each other, and how religion and public spaces intersect to impact neighborhood outcomes.
